Rear end has been assembled and installed along with the MWC LCA, PHB, TA and DS safety loop. I installed viking berserker double adjustable shocks in the rear as well. I ended up buying new valve springs, seats, seals, retainers, having the heads pressure tested and leak tested, milled 2 or 3 thou to make sure they flat, installed johnson link bar lifters, same .051 MLS head gasket. Just measured for pushrods and they will be installed this week, along with the fast which I ordered all new gaskets for. The car is getting dyno tuned on April 10th!!!!!!!!!
I will be testing twice in April then going to KOTOR Oklahoma for a mini drag n drive event April 26-28 in the stick shift class. It's a 200 mile cruise followed by racing.

To be clear, a new MLS head gasket but same thickness. Also switching from steel to aluminum driveshaft.

Its in the camshaft. Too small of a cam for a 402ci. A larger cam will do the trick. Ive seen 9.9s e.t out a 408ci with fast 92mm using ported 706 heads. 243s still a better head over a 706....

Im going to a bigger cam (right now) than you got now in a stock stroke LS2 combo. Chasing 10s myself using Captain Insano 799s on top with a fast 102mm.

Cam Motion recommended a 252/262 111+4 .646/.621 with 1.7 rockers.

I would get a second opinion on a cam. Martin Smallwood uses cam motion core but set to his specs.

Made 5 passes last Saturday to make sure the car wasn't going to fall apart. The passes were fairly clean except for one wheelie that got out of hand. Forgot my ram air so I am not sure what the car is capable of but testing again tomorrow.

Here are the 5 passes from the first test session. First time driving the car in a year and it had a lot of new parts on it. Overall pretty pleased with the car from the first outing. Take it easy on my shifting

Love watching the car run. Have you played with tire brands on the car such as M/T vs Hoosier ?

I have always ran MT 3055s. I may not have mentioned this but, I got a small piece of metal in the contact patch of one of these slicks. I patched it from the inside and put tubes in them. First time running tubes and so far they seem okay. If I were to try another tire it may be a Hoosier C07 - 28 10.5 stiff sidewall. It seems the general consensus is the MT is better on tighter surfaces and the C07 is better for surfaces that aren't as good. I would like to try them one day. Or maybe phoenix stiff sidewall slicks. The MT have just been too good to me!

haha thank you sir! It feels so mediocre. I have a gopro I'll set one up next time I race. Local track is closed so I thought about going to Tulsa for a TNT. If not, I'll be doing the KOTOR Oklahoma mini drag n drive! So I'll have some more footage this week or next

Gave Martin a rundown and he said he will be able to help me a lot vs the cam I have now. May try to install it next month after this event if I feel motivated

KOTOR Oklahoma was cancelled and two TNT at my local track have been cancelled. Last 3 weekends haven't made a pass but did some street driving. Everything seems fine so far.

Martin has recommended a 244/250 .629/.612 112.5+2.5 which will be going in the car sometime during summer.
