Wheel Stand from Hell!

Wheel Stand from Hell! Maple Grove Raceway, I am the first car out. No trans brake because I'm not sure how the car will launch. First pass hit hard and cut a 1.37 60' and a 10.31 @ 131. +1200 DA.
Second pass I say go on the brake and all hell breaks loose. Before I know it the shift light is on and I'm staring at sky. I try to ride through the light a little to let her come down but she keeps climbing. Hit the limiter and found second. The car comes down and hits hard. Mistake was trying to ride past the shift. Should have pulled it right away. As soon as it came down I coasted to a 12.2. Thanks to ARE for all the power, now I just need to figure out how to control it.
Long story short, I pulled a stock eliminator style launch and dented a header and cracked the oil pan. All-in-all, I'm happy that was all. Drove it on the trailer with only a very small oil leak. This could have been much worse.

Re: Wheel Stand from Hell! Yeah Alan, they lifted about 3 feet the first time and that was just foot braking it. I surely was NOT ready for that.
