I didn't know Harwood made anything at all for the 98-up cars... Regardless, the only SS style hoods I've seen are the regular bolt-on hoods, and don't seem to be very lightweight.

Harwood used to make this hood as a pin on but they only make the bolt on version now. Maybe they didn't sell enough because we didn't know they made it.

Maybe with enough interest they would run another batch. Worth a shot anyway, I know at least 2 other people that want one.

It looks identical to the factory hood and is very well made.

Re: Does anyone make a SS style pin on hood?
I just called,
Jason was out to lunch, but the guy I talked to said that the hood we are talking about was a "show series hood" and that it would not work as a lift off hood. He also said they would have to retool to make a mold for that hood, and they were not planning on making a mold.
Whats up with that???
Dave can you call back and reconfirm this with Jason and find out what the deal is?

Not sure if you guys are interested, but I have been working with VFN Fiberglass. And with my help they should be able to come out with a 98-02 pin on hood... I think the pinon would be 15-20 lbs.

Re: Does anyone make a SS style pin on hood?
Ok, I talked to him again and he gave me wrong information this morning. He checked with his production manager and they no longer have the mold. They will not be making anymore. He said to check with him at the end of the year to see if any had been returned. One is on its way back now but Jay Johnson has dibs on it.
