High 11's on motor can be had with weight reduction, big stall, sticky tires, longtubes, and all the bolt-ons.

There are several paths.
NA power + (nitrous) OR boost + (nitrous)
If you're going NA + (nitrous) then go as high in Compression ratio as possible and get all the bolt ons.
If you are going supercharger then get all the bolt ons except for whisper lid, because the sc might have it's own filter and intake. Go low compression ratio
For turbo, don't do any exhaust work until you have the turbo on the car, don't do any intake work until turbo is on the car. For example don't put headers on a car that's going turbo. and the motor should be low compression ratio.
This way you won't buy something and have to get rid of it later, so it's best to decide what your goals are now, that will also help you choose the right torque converter when you call yank or vig people.

for a 346, its hard, either for m6 or a4. if you want to drop the cash for a 422/392/383, then it might be a little easier. you are still going to have to shed alot of weight out of your car.
get a bottle, and you will get there fairly easy.

It depends how deep into the 11s you want to go. I know 11s are had with stock heads, decent converter (ST3500) and sticky tires. I'm weighing in at 3575#s. To go deep, you'll need bigger stall, less weight and good flowing heads/cam. It's all about how bad you want it. Good luck.

you can see what my SS did in the Sig when i had it.
It had the major boltons(minus FTRA, or FRA),
TR-224 Cam, FLP's, ST-3500, Tires, Minimal ls1 edit tuning, and the following removed from the car:
1.) spare tire/jack
2.) sway bar
3.) pass seat, back seat
4.) little gas.

Not really low compression heads, but low compression pistons. You can bolt on a s/c, but you won't safely see allot of boost from it with the stock heads and pistons. That's strictly because of compression (being fairly high from the factory).

So even with a supercharger you have to get low compression heads???
