I think he will see about that time also but if he doesnt see 10s tomorow and he hooks the car, It would be time to tear apart that setup and start from scratch.....

I agree with minty. PSJ has tried to break into the 10s enough with that set up. If all conditions are set for it tomorrow and he doesnt break into the 10s, its back to the drawing board.

I saw PSJ run his current best at GLD in not so good air, so I think he should have no problem seeing 10s today. As far a hooking, I managed 1.60s w/my small converter at 41 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I don't think he will have traction issues.

11.02@122.64mph there are some shifting issues that we were not able to fix having problems getting the car to shift consistently. I was going about 12mph faster than bolton A4 cars and 7mph faster than some built H/C cars so it's not all so bad.
Thanks for the interest.

PSJ
That time sucks but so did the weather. It was threatining to rain all day. Good weather made a difference of 30hp the last time I ran.
Seriously, did you ever check the port alignment with the intake and headers? You should be running 10's regardless of weather. Something is wrong.

What kind of shifting problems? And what kind of 60s were you turning? You like the new converter? Did you do the FRA?

What were the shifting problems? Did you get the FTRA or FRA done? How about sixty foot changes?
Cheers,
Chris
I think a 26 inch slick will still allow you to hook and to better dial in your shift points too. I am curious if you ran with that shitty stock lower airbox again.

i think it was shifting into 2nd too soon. when it shifted, you could hear the car bogging down. maybe the converter is locking up on the shift?

Ooooo, so close <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
Good to see the 60' time drop into the 1.4x. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Only 25.2 mph gain on the top half of the track <img border="0" alt="[boring]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_zzz.gif" />
What was the DA?

Went 11.02 first pass. Shifted 1-2 at 6400 and 2-3 was low too. I felt we could bump up the shift points and pick up .5 to a full mph.
Changed shift points and then car did weird 1-2 BOG and it would drop to like nothing and come back and run like an animal... I think we will go and see if a pcm parameter got messed up. Jim from Speed Inc was making shift point changes he friggin' rocks we just need to play with it.
1.49 on an aborted pass later in the day.
