New best for Project FMS
New best for Project FMS Went out to No Problem today to enjoy some good weather racing <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Only two changes since the Thunder race: a swap to 4.88 gears and testing with Futral Motorsports Prototype sheetmetal intake with preliminary tuning(still have some bugs to work out, went from 455 rwhp with LS6 intake to 475 rwhp with air fuel ratio all wacked out)
Only had 2 full passes before 4th gear started popping out of gear..aghh
1st pass:
60' 1.498
330' 4.434
1/8 6.874
MPH 100.41
1000' 8.971
1/4 10.72 @ 128.62
* 45.1 deg-56% hum.-30.28" baro = -1216 DA
2nd pass:
60' 1.480
330' 4.435
1/8 6.881
MPH 100.23
1000' 8.983
1/4 10.74 @ 128.35
* 42.7 deg-65% hum-30.28" baro = -1374 DA
Both passes were at 3440 lbs
Now to finish some testing\tuning and figure out what going on with 4th gear <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" />

Re: New best for Project FMS Sorry guys,not wanting to release pictures at this time till I have the final version completed(working on fitment and T\B ideas)but will be worth the wait. Going through a patent search at this time. I am Ray's friend ..we met @ thunder shootout...don't you need an a4 guniea pig for your intake? I have a solid low 10sec.(on spray) car begging for an intake.
