Weighed my car after diet...I was impressed!...
Weighed in (without me) at 3275!!
Weight savings:
lightweight hood
eradispeeds on front
!windshield wiper res.
!rear seats
!pass. seat
!half of carpeting insulation
!rear belts
!spare/jack
!2 rear speakers
!trunk divider thing
!most heat shields
That's all I can remember for now.
With me it was 3425.
I think that's light. I still have heavy chrome rims on and I am going to remove EGR/AIR so that will shave some more!!
Waddya think!? And I didn't sacrafice too much for my daily driver.
Nick
I can still remove EGR and other insulation.

man. . . it's amazing the difference in cars.
My 98 Z28 M6 weighed 3225lb's w/o me in it.
Only *real* weight reduction was spare/jack, and 1/4 tank gas.
front & rear seats in place, 16" non-chrome wheels all around.

Re: Weighed my car after diet...I was impressed!...
My daily driver weighs in at 3090 without me. I still have the stock leather T/A driver and passenger seat, stock hood, and stock rotors up front. Although, I admit the rotors make a very minimal difference.
BTW, that is with stock k-member/a-arms also. Once I pull the passenger seat and get a BMR k-member, my raceweight is 3200 even.

Here's where I bought it. You will have to trim it. www.formtecplastics.com

Cool...not too expensive.
What was the weight savings??
I assume they don't have one with a defroster huh. Living in Chicago can suck.

When you put your key in and turn the lock cylinder the hatch flies open. Which can be used as weapon, to knock out a man, clean cold. <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" /> If you want to get evil and give the appearance of having a defroster, just use some orange or red pinstriping tape. With the tint that's in the polycarbonate (limo), you wont hardly be able to see it.
