Re: Direct replacement hood for SS: Harwood now makes an "ss" bolt on hood for the 98-02 camaro. i dont know how much it weighs though. carhoods.com makes one, but its heavy and expensive. and there is one more place but i cant think of the name. a person on this board has one.
Re: Direct replacement hood for SS: I have one. Stock appearance SS hood. Non functional. It is a bolt on / pin on version which utilizes the stock hinges. Pins in the front. Weight is 15 lbs. It is availabe in pin on only also. Pics of the hood are in my web page.

Tom, is that the Harwood bolt on SS hood? Harwood didn't have a weight, and Summit only tells me that the shipping weight is 45. I wonder how much the packing is.

Re: Direct replacement hood for SS: I have a spare but wrecked 00 SS hood and it was 51 lbs with no hardware on it. It's heavy because it's really nice quality...
