Probably so. I weighted it on the Cat Scales on the way back from the Spring Break Shootout. Truck, trailer, 2 cars, 4 people, and all of the other crap that goes along with that came in at a little over 31,000 lbs.
If and when I ever get pulled over I'm just going to play very stupid.

Thanks, and I will always race my Chevy's but for now I'll keep towing with my Ford. I've driven and towed with them all and I love my 6.0 Powerstroke the best. Well that is until '07 when Ford comes out with the 6.6 Twin Turbo.

my buddy has the 7.4 power stroke(i believe its 7.4, its the big one i know that for sure)
That thing is a TANK!!!!!!!!!! it dont plow for **** tho, my 2500 hd plows much beter, but towing his truck is sick, and being where you are, plowing dont matter much. hehe

No I don't do a lot of plowing down here. With 31K I can set my cruise on 75-78 mph and get about 8.5-9 mpg. That thing pulls like a ****.

04 GMC Sierra 2500HD SLT, Onyx Black, Crew Cab SB, 4WD, Dmax LLY/Alli tranny and running the Edge/Attitude at Level 4.
The PB run in the approx. 7,200lbs truck is 1.91 60', 14.76sec at 89.26mph in Tow/Haul x4-drive.

Paul, if you ever think the DOT will give you a problem just make sure that the trailer is registered under somebodys personal name and then put "not for hire" somewhere on the sides & back to declare it for personal/pleasure use. I know several guys that do this to avoid having to get a CDL and other DOT issues. It's basicly the same reason that all these 85 year olds can drive around in there huge motorhomes without any special license.

My tow vehicle is in my sig 2003 escalade and the towing limit is 8900 lbs. I pull my car and steel trailor like it isnt even back there. Ill try to get a pic for you guys. well here is the pic and I tow with big pimp wheels on it also...

Shoulda got a ford f350... I used to work at a dodge dealer. Soon as the 100k warranty was up on the cummins, they were in for work. Like they have a button they push when they hit 100k and everything breaks. Dad had a ram diesal. traded it for the F350. And the F350 puts the poor dodge to shame. Cant comment on the duramax. Just that it was too exepensive at almost 40k picked up a used f350 for 22 with 20k miles on it

About it's towing ability works fine I towed my camaro on this 20"aluminum trailer! It was easy. I even tryed flooring it truck hauled ***! The only thing I would change is some bigger brakes, those big wheels don't help!
