Default Third Gen LS1 Times?

Ok, my car isnt done yet, but I was wondering if anyone would have an idea on what I would run.
First of all my set up is:
-98 LS1 w 4L60e, aluminum driveshaft
-220/224 532/536 114 lsa Comp Cams
-stock 10 bolt out of manual Fbody...3.42 gears
-asp pulley/alt pulley(oh boy)
-no egr/emissions
-Jba shorties, custom 3" y-pipe, no cats, 3" cat back
-100 shot nitrous, wet
-3800 stall
-probably going to be on 315 nittos

All in a 92 Camaro with full suspension work, tubular Kmember tubular A-arms,
approximatly 3000 lbs +-, not sure really . Just wondering if anyone could give me an aproximation on what i would run NA and on nitrous.

Well, considering one of the first LS1 swaps ran a 12.7 with basically a stock LS1 and no tuning, I'd say considerably faster then that.

Just curious, what tubular k-member you running? Do you like it?

Its the conversion Kmember from Hawks Third Gen parts. Ive had two problems so far with it. First he accidently sent me the Kmember that fits tubular A-arms, and I was going to use stock a-arms...not really a big deal, just have to get tubulars now. Second, the holes for the motor mount bolts were smaller than the stock bolts that came with the motor, also not a big deal...just drilled the holes open. Another problem that ive heard is normal for every motor install is the mounts dont line up perfect, just gotta do some nudging to get the bolts through. Other than that, it bolted up to the frame nicely, I cant say how it runs because the car doesnt run yet, but savin a few extra pounds will be nice.

That's sweet that they have the kit available for it. Do you know who is building the pieces for him? At one point it was going to be Spohn, IIRC, and I was really hoping it would be him for when the time comes to do my swap.

Are you running the stock spring/strut setup or did you go w/ coil overs? The weight loss from both the motor and the k-member is gonna be awesome! Losing weight in the right spot for once

Yea, I didnt convert to coilovers...to expensive. I didnt even get drag spring, just lowering springs...Im not going to make that much power(yet) to where theres no traction with a good tire. And yes, front end weight loss is a good thing...

My 89RS just went 8.6 @ 83 in the 1/8, this is a totally stock LS1/4L60E/converter and 2.78 gears in the rear. Also stock V6 suspension w/BFG DR's. You, on the other hand, should be considerably faster than that. I'm guessing around 7.6 N/A and 6.9 on spray in the 1/8. Low 11's N/A and Low 10's on spray in the 1/4.

Good luck with the rest of your swap.

Another place you can look is PA racing, Sponsor of the board------------->.
They have tubular k-members for third gens and will install the LS1 mounts.

I wouldn't have converted to coil overs anyway, I prefer the stock setup over the coil over setup. It just doesn't sit right w/ me. What lowering springs/shocks/struts did you go with?

Yeah, there are two companies that make the tubalur k-member, however, I want one from Spohn

Post your times when you get them!

I went with KYB 8 way adjustable shocks all the way around, with Eibach prokit lowering springs. I had the sportlines and I put the rear springs in and lowered the car down...well the rear end was about 4 inches from the ground +-, so I decided to go with the Prokit, hopefully it will look good and not screw my traction too much.

I wish I woulda known PA had conversion Kmembers/motor mounts. It woulda been bout 100 bucks cheaper. O well.
