Default How fast can a SI LS1 on a crazy N20 setup go?

How fast can an internally stock LS1 run with say a progressive wet/dry 2 stage or whatever on a slick? How much can you spray at a stock LS1 motor? I need to know if this kid's legit and what he should be running. He's been spraying it for a while so I'd assume it can be THAT big of a shot? Thanks.

How fast is he goin???? My fastest so far with longtubes, lid, ASP, TH400, converter, and suspension on a dual wet/dry spraying a 200 shot is the current record with a

10.28 @ 129 w/ a 1.42 60'

Should hit 9's once the weather cools down here.....just got a tighter converter (4600 on the T-Brake to 3600) and a 1-7/8 Kooks header due to the power falling off at high RPM's because of exhaust restriction.....the converter was killing the 3rd gear pull

I think the record is now 10.3x, it was 10.5x for a long time before that. My personal best were 10.9x's.

That's sick! I'd didn't think you could do that

So for a punk kid on a ET Street on the street. Maybe 11.00?

It's gonna be tough to hook up on the street with that tire while spraying the car from a stop.....now from a 15-20 roll that may be a different story.....ET is in the 60'

Are you asking true SI or stock bottom end. Those untouched SI numbers are sick! There's quite a few stock bottom end cars that are running very good numbers out there too Icon set the bar for that.

WOW! That's pretty impresive for only a 200 shot at nearly 3400#. Did it ever go on the dyno?

Hacker Joe went 10.81 in 1999 on two stages, @ like 3800 r/weight. Went 11.4@116 on one stage.

Dave Purlee went 10.5 over the next two years, he posted at Silver LS1!.

Sean Freese aka KechMe I believe went 10.3 after that.

And it looks like someone went 10.2's.

Kechme had heads and cam...Josh's car is 100% stock internals with a pretty simple nitrous setup that ran 10.2@129.

Saw that article...pretty cool man. That's flyin' for a stock internal motor!

Friend of mine just dyno'd his 98 TA on a 2 stage (100 dry/100 propane wet) setup. He has a bone stock motor except for my old TR224 cam and Mac's. It made 358 rwhp NA and 548 rwhp at the wheels on the spray, untuned. Pretty sick if you ask me.....
