No, but I mark my wheels to make sure I but them back on the same side they came from.

You should really switch your slicks everytime you go to the track. Its not good to keep them on the same side every pass.

If you keep them on the same side the drivers side will wear out faster. Best to switch them after several passes so both wear out evenly. You can measure thread depth and know for sure when to switch.

That does make sense. Although mine have worn pretty evenly. I have seen alot of people wear the passenger side out first. I just dont like switching the rotating direction on a tire. I guess there is nothing to worry about on a slick. No tread pattern or steal belts.

I started rotating tires a few years back and they wear more evenly. Of course I have a spool, so that means every time I turn right the RH tire gets a little more chewed than the LH. I swap every 25 runs, but some racers I know swap every time they change tires at the track. I just figure the 25 keeps it more consistent, and my tires get a little more life, which is always good!
