You need two 1/2 NPT bulkhead unions. You can see what they look like at the end of this PDF file. http://mdmetric.com/3550/3550_BA.pdf It's the very last diagram. Then you simply get two NPT barb connectors 1/2 barb to 1/2 NPT male and 5/8 barb to 1/2 NPT. You can mix and match the sizes accordingly. Then you simply bolt the bulkhead into the firewall with a barb connector and a hose clamp on each side. That's really all there is to it.
You should be able to find much of this stuff at any fluid connector place in town. The fittings are typically made by Parker Brass. Most hydralic shops, some hardware and automotive stores will carry them. You can also call McMaster-Carr (www.mcmaster.com) and see if they can get this part for you.

They work moderately well. Keep in mind, it only blows heat in one direction. I had mine mounted straight up onto the windshield as a defroster. It has a hi/lo switch on it as well. Overall it will keep it warm, but I didn't have mine in long enough when it was cold out to be able to tell you if it would do well at 40 degrees or below.

It can be mounted to blow straight through the dash cover like a stock defroster. I'm sure with a little imagination you could put some other ducting in there. There also will not be any vacuum modulation for the duct work. So, what ever you put in front of it is where it will blow.

i just installed mine last night got the box with it. Mounted it behined the stereo a little to the drivers side. used the side exit on the box and made a s out of the hose to run my defrost and then ran 2 hoses to the center heat exits. Looks pretty nice when i was done and this way i should at least be able to get warm from it and defrost the window. I should get pictures taken pretty soon of how i installed it.

Anybody with pictures?
I'm about to have my dash out for a cage install, and I'm going to ditch the stock HVAC stuff and buy a Mojave heater.
would love to see any pictures and hear any info on it possible to make it an easier install
