What happened to sports these days, these athletes should not be acting the way they are. There actions are rediculous and they should be fined and punished for there comments and actions.

Good for them. Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy Should've been four times that amount Cry Baby Bitch. Hate watching a grown man like a little girl on most Sundays.
Speaking of the sponsors... I wouldn't be suprised if any one or a number of them decided to spend their money on a classier act.
How 'bout that John Force?

I'm glad the NHRA doesn't let things get out of hand. The sport of drag racing doesn't need that kind of attention. I guess they felt it was important enough to post on their website, so they're creating their own coverage of the incident.

Well there were quite a few fuel drivers that were upset at this event, I agree whit didnt handle it correctly. The issue was during first and second round on sundays only 2 fuel cars made in down the right lane without smoking the tires.

Like you said there is absolutly no reason to take your frustrations out like Whit did, it was uncalled for and put people in danger. Its sad when stuff like this happens, these guys are some of the luckiest in the world to get to drive 300+ mph dragsters for a living, and then they act like this it makes you lose alot of respect for them.

Whit already had it out with his boss Don Schu several times this year, their not very good buddies any more. His teammate also out performed him all year and Gary Scelzi is a much nicer guy. That article says that if he has any more infractions in the next 2 years he is out as a driver. I`ll bet he`s not even driving for Schumacher next year.

Seems like the only way to get across to these guys is to hit 'em where it hurts. Right in the ol' pocketbook. He got off lucky. Consider what would have happened to him if he had hurt somebody.
