I've got 2.25" BS alumastar one piece up front, strange drag brakes.

do you think it looks better than when a 1.75 BS is on the car? (besides the obvious wheel itself looking better part)

well, i ran a 1.75" BS prostar and 5/16 spacer w/ the stock brakes. The outer edge of the tire was even or just a tad out of the wheel well then. the 1.75 and spacer effectively makes the backspacing a little less then 1.5".

I wanted to suck the wheels in, and going to 2.25 moved them in about 3/4". I like the look much better

The strange brakes use a replacement spindle and aluminum hub, they appear to place the wheel in the same location as stock. So the wheel moving in should be solely a function of the back spacing.

I can probably get a picture of how far in they are if needed.

Convo pro 15x4 2 5/16 backspace, sold my 15x3 1/2 1 3/4 backspace to use them.
Required some caliper grinding but fixed the getto wheel look it had before.

I have 1.75 inch back spacing with the eibach prokit and I am always worried the tire is going to hit the fender if I get the car to launch hard

pics of what? 1.75" bs pro stars? or 2.25" bs prostars? cuz ive been trying to do the same thing....move the wheel in.

i have 3 1/2" 1.75 bs draglites with a 5/16" spracer and the wheel hangs out. The only draglite or prostar i could find to move the wheel in is a 15 x 5 with 3 1/2" bs ....that would let me still run the spacer...but move the wheel in 1/4"...plus the extra rim width on the inside would suck the tires in a little more...the tires look like a set of toothpicks under the front now...so i thought this might be a good idea. is this a good idea? i guess the only weight difference would be another 1 1/2 inches of rim.

do they make a 15 x 3 1/2 with 2.25" of bs in draglites?
