Lightweight alternative for stock fans?

I just have a single fan on here, wouldnt do it for a street car that sees hot weather/traffic though. Weighs less then half of the stock fan assembly and draws less current when at the track cooling it down without the car running. With the electric water pump/fan going on a 90 degree day it would cool down to 140 in 10-15 minutes between rounds no problem.

Magnus- I'm running a single 10" on my SI car. With my "race" EWP, the car will not get over 170*.....I've let the car idle for 15 mins and it never started to climb. Pics in webshots page.

Keith, are you going to be using the stock radiator as well? I would say just use those push through plastic clips through the radiator, or you can make custom brackets. Although the push clips are lighter than any brackets. I will be switching to a smaller radiator with a single fan (mounted with push through clips) on our car sometime in the near future.

i just measured my new aluminum radiator and single 16" Perma-Cool fan and the assembly was 12lbs lighter.
my 16" Perma-Cool has a 2950cfm static rating, which was alot higher then the other ones i was looking at and only costed $100ish from summit.
