Default Steering Shaft Pics (pinto manual)

I am just finishing up my k-member install and was wondering if anyone has pics of their steering shaft hooking up their pinto manual rack. I have done several searches and have found none.

Just got done today. I will try to post something tomorrow.

On a side note, for those who bitch about the price of the Madman rack, some real world experience. Yeah, you can get a pinto rack for half of what Madman wants, but you now need a mount kit, two u-joints that are different sizes, and a foot or so of D shaft. You also need some way to connect the rack to the wheels, like a couple of 5/8 or 3/4 Heim joints and tubing you can thread (after you buy a $25 tap) that isn't too large to weld onto the rack or buy bungs for the end of the tubing that are already threaded. By the time you track all this stuff down and pay for shipping you aren't really going to save much money, especially if you value your time. This I know because I just did it.

Unless you simply prefer to do stuff like this yourself (like me), just buy the kit from Madman.

None of the steering shaft, but it's nothing spectacular.

Looks like a Madman rack

It fits better than mine because the rack mount kit I got mounts the rack much closer to the K-member. I couldn't do like Madman 'cuz I don't have a TIG.

It is. Mine fit perfect and I had the old one out and this one in the car in about 2 hours.

I had Stenod Racing do my manual rack and it was worth it over buying something already together at least from what I saw on the market.

Summit rack, some u-joints, shaft, some bolts, and a little metal and skills and Derty/Joe had it all taken care of. I will get pics when I get the car back. Hope that helps!
