Oh the doors.. you can cut all the metal out of them, and alot of the fiberglass too, probably about 10 lbs per door that you could get out of there... if you haven;t already done that.

You could hole-saw the crap out of that second layer of metal. Same with this area of the fenders: http://www.w2wpowertrain.com/showgal...=21&slideidx=3

Anywho...if I were building a race car and I were going with aftermarket wheels, brakes, and k-member, I'd get that Billingsley setup with the AJE-style K-member, no upper a-arms, and spindle-mount brakes/Welds. Awesome.

Good luck on the project for sure. I'm sure you guys will pull another 100lbs out of her at least.

That spindle setup is neat.. probably another 30 lbs or more right there.


Hell, I'm seeing 150 lbs that you could pull now! Hole saw that metal, hole saw the kirkey seat too while you are at it!

this was good info.
This is "project SS" car that had a SI record at 10.8 IIRC for a few weeks. I guess this was his brothers username, they posted more resently used the "project SS" user name I belove it was.
