I do a little burn out let it idle on the line then
stomp it. If I bring up the rpm I spin and I am
probably more consistent launching from idle
and I have high 1.9's 60'

LCAs and relocation brackets (lower point). That will cut your times too.

ah, my questions is this.. u a4 stalled guys.. do u try adn breaktq as high as you can and then leave.. or do u just leave off idle, some say this makes the stall flash higher before it leaves or some bs..... ive actually watched a guy cut into his 60ft by doing it...

You have to experiment to know for sure. Most don't get their best times by leaving off idle. With my 4k stall and MS3 on stock suspension and ET streets I get pretty good 60's (low 1.64's) by brake stalling it up to nearly 3k at the line. It's also easier on the rear end to stall it up first.

I had lost 2 tenths by leaving off idle. Best was stalling it up first and ditto about it being easier on the rear.

i footbrake my car and it does the best that way. I use to just lanch at idle but my I could not cut a good light. Now I footbrake it and my lights are .000's or .100's. Also i leave my car in drive. Right now my car does the quarter mile in first and second, my gear is to tall for 3rd gear. It runs 13.20 @ 107 mph with a 2.0 60 foot in second gear.
