I'm just curious, cuz i'm having some issues with the car gettin pretty hot since the new motor went in. I autotapped it on the way to the track saturday, got to like 225 on the highway with a 160 t-stat and fans set at 175 first stage and 180 second stage. So I pulled the thermo out and tapped it again on the way home from west palm last night, saw 212 for the hottest and as soon as I would let the rpms come down or get off for a toll, temp would start dropping. I push like 3300 - 3500 rpm cruising on the highway, and the temp just slowly climbs as time goes on! Is this normal, is my pump not pumping enough, do I need a bigger radiator to handle the heat from the highway cruising? Could the higher compression of the new motor be causing it, it's about 11.3:1 compared to stock? Any insight would be appreciated, thanks guys!

I dont run a t-stat BUT I cut the stat out and run the outer housing. You can call me and I will give you some ideas. 281-290-8899

I never had any problems with heat, I run the race pump that is only 35gpm, and the street pump is 55gpm

My pump works fine, hwy is actualy better. However I have OD. You still hve the air dam under the front right ?
