Talking Car is back from Madman's

picked up Project "Censored" today from Madman Racing. Here is what it had done in the last two weeks:

Wolfe 10-point chrome moly cage (certified for 7.50 ET or slower)
cam-lock harnesses installed (both seats)
window net installed
Wolfe thru-floor subframe connectors
Billingsley fab 9" rearend w/ anti-roll bar (35-spline, gun drilled axles)
BMR torque arm, LCA's, panhard
BMR k-member with upper and lower A's
QA1 coil overs
Aerospace front brakes
Strange rear brakes
New brake lines and braided lines
Custom tranny x-member
TCI Dedenbear cased Powerglide installed
TCI torque converter (stalled for 900-1000 rwhp @ 3000 lbs)
TCI Bandit shifter
TCI trans-brake
TCI tranny cooler
Thunder Racing line-lock kit
Billingsley ABS delete block
Madman manual front steering rack
Madman heater delete firewall plate
A/C system completely removed (including inside dash)
catback system removed
Power steering pump removed
airbags removed
ARP lug studs pressed into front hubs

Up next:
408ci iron block to be built by LME
AFR 225 heads
Custom twin-turbo setup to be built by Pro Turbo Kits (twin 60mm)

I'm building the car to run in the Extreme Modified class . Might have it done by the Thunder Racing event in November....

Looks badass. Just curious, why didn't you go with a Madman torque arm (since you seem to be going pretty hardcore with everything else) ?

Turo: suspension components are sponsored by BMR. Its their Extreme-Duty chromoly stuff, not the typical street stuff.

Kyle: I'll be doing the engine before the PTK visit. Maybe a month or two away. Probably going to use BS3

Spanky: Only pics I have. I'll get some more later once I clean up the interior and put new carpet and seats in it.

Once again...looks awesome. But i got a technical Q for you. Why is the caulking poored around the backs of the subframes on the floor. Why aren't they welded in that area?

Tony, what made you go with the front Aerospace brakes over the Strange? I ordered my new rear end with the rear Strange brakes which is what you have, but was curious as to why you went with different fronts.
