Default Fastest 60' on street tires?

Who in here as the best 60' on street tires. Street tires being like BFG KD's or some F1's, not drag radials or anything like that. I have been cutting 2.0's on my KD's with a ton of wheel hop due to not have LCA reloc. brackets, hopefully those will help me when they go on next week. I was just curious to see what yalls times were and maybe even share your setups and techniques. I need a little more practice, I have only been to the track 3 times. Thanks
Ben

I hate seeing threads like this.... I can cut 2.0's in my sleep... over and over... But I can't get it any better. I made over 55 passes this year with prob 50-2.0's and 5-2.1's. I just can't get any better. I can't get a 1.9 nevermind some of the 1.8-1.7 times I've seen. These were run on the stock F1 SC's with 15,000 miles on them... Maybe I'll get some better times next year on a new set of tires

I hit all 2.0 60's with tons of wheelhop, so I'm hoping to see 1.9's or 1.8's after my relocation brackets and torque arm go on in the next couple weeks.

1.79 on cheapie pepboy futura's that have been on the car for over two years and are almost out of life! Probably can get that better, but only got 3 runs, first run 2.0, next run came out harder 1.84, third run came out even harder 1.79, will have too go back up on my street tires again one night and shoot for 1.6's!!!

PS - That was on motor and went 11.45 @ 122.xx on the 1.79 60' run!

lot of it has to do with track prep. an a4 with a mild stall on a sticky track can probably hit some very impressive numbers.

fwiw i managed a 1.95 (on the f1's) back when the car was stock with the exception of a lid.

I'd say suspension would be the biggest factor.

I had a 1.72 and went 11.54 @ 119 on some crappy all season Generals (245/50/16). Of course the track had something to do with it (RT 66, Joliet, IL).

The money you spent on the three rears could have bought you a 12 bolt or 9 inch. I ran low 10s, spraying a small dry shot out of the hole on my 10 bolt with stock axles; and it never broke. It is not hard, just needs to be set up right.

I cut 1.52 on MT ET Street Radials. Stock Shocks/Springs and torque arm. And yes, they are street tires
