ok i have a 98 Z and my friend/ sisters bf has a 03 mach 1, beautiful car, feels fast going thru the gears...i do really like this car, but my sister seems to think he can hang with me, or for that matter beat me, currently the car runs 13.61 and consistent 13.7s, well before headers, catted y and converter.......are these mach 1's that fast, everything i see on them is in the 13.8-14.1 range at BESt!!,and seen one at atco pull a 14.30, so, what do these cars run bone stock!!!

With the 5 spds I say the average Joe can pull 13.5-13.6's stock. I think the fastest stock time was 13.1X
They do come in auto and I'd say higher 13's maybe low 14's for those. Could be a drivers race when you run him. Good luck. -Mark

Mach 1's are ls1 fast. However they make their power in the 1st 500-660 feet. The ls1 should own it on the top end, stay in it and you could pull it out in the last half.
I have a friend with an 03 mach 1, 5 spd. He has 4.11', axles, x pipe, cat back, and a 75 shot. On ET Drags, he runs 12.5 ish on spray, and low 13's motor. and his 60' is consistently below 1.8 ( that is the upper range of his 60' times).
They are fast fords, be careful.

My wife bought an 04 Mach1 auto trans car. We took it to a charity drag race event in the cold October Michigan weather. It ran 13.74 at almost 101 mph totally stone stock. But remember this was a very good air day.

I know my 03 Cobra with a cat back, kb cold air kit, accufab throttle body, a 2.93 pulley at about 12psi and a full tune put down 438 to the ground.
I dont see a mach 1 putting down 440-460 on just a supercharger at 8psi.
Maybe I am wrong here.

I also think that your basic blower kit will either come with a 8# or 10# pulley. But 140-160rwhp is not uncommon when slapping on a centri on these 4v's. -Mark

Like it's been said...
Machs are nasty, especially from a dig. They are set up to pull hard of the line, but LS1s have a better top-end so the longer the race is the better for the LS1.
Stock times are anywhere in the mid/low 13s...depending on the driver.
