I run an ATI (custom hub to space out the accessories right with the motorplate).

It's a quality piece.

Yes sir...they now have the design on file now so you should be able to save from paying the extra 50 for a 'custom hub' like I did. If you need my info for reference just drop me a pm and I'll get you what you need.

I had the ASP pulley and now I have the ATI. The ATI Super Damper is a much better piece than the ASP but it is more expensive. The ATI piece is slotted for a woodruff key and the ASP is not.

The bore of the damper is slotted and the nose of the crankshaft is slotted, you put the woodruff key or a square key in the slot on the crankshaft and line up the slot in the damper and push it on the crank, the key positively keeps the damper from being able to spin on the crankshaft.

ATI is pretty much the "standard" balancer on race engines from what I've seen / used. Quality, better damping, etc. For an engine like yours thats what I'd have. If all you want is an underdrive pulley though, get the ASP.

I went with the ATI piece. I went ahead and got the one spaced out for motor plates, and dry sump so I didn't have to buy the piece over again if/when I wanted to go bigger/faster.

either ATI or Innovators West...................I wouldn't spend 10K on an engine and then cheap out on a piece that can extend the life of your engine JMO

My issue is fitment with my turbo drain line. It was installed with my ASP underdrive pulley so I am concerned that a standard size pulley will be too large. My drain line is at the top of my oil pan.

Is ASP's SFI piece underdrive sized?
