Default Trying to decide which drag tires to run on my 15x10 draglites.

I already have a set of draglites for the front with 26" sportsman's.
So I got some rears to match. 7.5 back spacing. Drilled for screws. And or spacers if needed.
I kinda want to be able to run with the street cars on the street legal nights.
But I don't want to worry about traction problems.
And I do not want to cut and roll the fender wells in. I will remove to bump stop if need be.
The three I'm looking at.
28x10.5 et drag.
28x11.5 et street.
325x50 street radial.

All advice welcome.Thanks.

Given you set up, I would do a ET drag. Sticker compound for hooking up.

I have done a search on this topic as well and I have found that most people say that the ET Drags will work better for a six speed. I was hoping to run the new ET street Radials on my drag wheels but I think that I may just go with an ET Drag or Street as well I don't know yet. I am going to try the ET Street radials on my 17" inch wheels first and see how they work out.

I ran on a 26x10.5x16 et street last year with great success. And the had three seasons on them. They were awsome but I see that the 28" streets come in a 11.5 and not a 10.5. Why is that?
Plus, it would be nice to cruise around the streets with the drag tires on there for a few weeks here and there.
I'm sick of switching them every week or so to race.

Ive had many friends run ET streets on an M6 with little to no problems.

ET Streets are my vote.

Alot of people are leaning toward the et drags on this vote. The only bad thing is I want to be able to run on the street sometimes. And on the street legal nights were dot tires are needed. But I know the drags will be awsome on days were full slicks are ok to run.

Go with sportsmans on the rears. They work great in the ran and hook great on dry pavement.

I will not be driving this car in the rain at all. But I have been caught in the rain on et streets and it was a very scarey situation.

I heard the sportsman rears are not good on the track. I'm looking for a slick. Not a street tire.

What does the "W" stand for on those tires? I've seen it before but don't know what it means.

I've been running ET DRAGS 26x10-15 with great success but the track down here only lets you run the 1/8 w/ a full slick, so I ordered some 26x11.50-15 Hoosier QTP's. I'm going to the track tommorrow I'll tell you what I think.

I thought about the hoosiers QTP's. I think they come in a 28x10.5x15. And if I remeber correctly, they even have a 28.5x10.5x15.

If you want a DOT tire, I'd go with the new ET street radials. I have'em and they hook better than the ET Streets I used to have, granted they're a lot bigger, but I really like them.
