I attribute the 2 mph over Magnus's car to my ram air set up.

Hey Juan, what would you charge to do this to my car? What parts would I need to supply?

They aren't in front of the radiator? You ever look at a stock F body? Theres a plastic shroud covering the whole radiator, so the airdam can push air up into the radiator.

you said that you sealed up the front part when the air comes in the bumper holes but it looks like you did not seal up where the air used to come in the stock location, in front of the lid...hope you did...hard to see from the angle of the picture

So that way all the air is going into the motor and has no way to escape

I think the overall intake charge will be cooler if it is sealed. I trimmed the base of my lid with a small lip going around it, so I can just drop my "plate" into the lid so it is completly sealed.

What are the dimensions of the "plate" and how much of the brace was trimmed? This looks like a great mod.

why did you seal up the front by the bumper... , so you get the maximum air into the engine, make it a sealed box, use some weather stripping, how in the intake box going to see the small but still there 0.25psi when you are a tthe traps with the air box not sealed,

I have my "blueprint" at work so i'll post up the exact demensions Monday.
From what i remember its 16"x8" two 4" holes, i belive the holes are each 1.5" from the front and each 3" from the edges.
Oh and from underneath the "lip" on the holes is 1.25" deep.

Sooooo what are you trying to say?

I think it is a great mod if you pick up HP at 90+ mph!! That could easily cot off a tenth or 2, and tack on a few extra MPH. Not only the "ram" effect at HIGH speeds, but you can not argue against the fact that it pulls in cold air

I don't even argue this point anymore. If people think it doesn't work i let them be. It's just one more little thing that will put my car infront of theirs.
