You'll be fine. Although your car is running extremely slow for what you have done to it. I think you need to find a better track or a better driver.

Did you go to Los Angeles Raceway? Over three years of subscribing to Sport Compact Car they've never said a good thing about it, like it's the worst track in the US. That could definitely be the problem. What is your fastest sixty at whatever track you go to?

It'd be damn close. A buddy of mine ran 13.2@101 on a near stock '05 STi. Had a catback running stock boost.

Definitely driver, unless there is something wrong with the tune. I was running 12.9s on true radials @ LACR with just a lid and gear back in '98 with my 6-speed.

12.9's I cant believe it. because there was another ws6 02 6 speed with headers, lid, computer tune, borla catback, ls6 intake manifold, and his quickest time was 13.3. Unless u had something else internally. There was also a 02 camaro a4 with a hot cam and bolt ons and he was running 12.6, but thats with a hot cam

Not with his mods. He should at least be running 12.8's at 2000 ft above sea level.

Only other thing the car had at the time was underdrive pulleys. Everything else was stock. I know that it wasn't just my car, cause there were a couple of other LS1 cars that were usually there running fairly close or better.

keep in mind that a stock sti has 300 hp and awd. if he has a piggy back or nitrous on his car all you will see is tail lights. all i had on my wrx was a small shot of nitrous and a boost controller.

A friend of mine ran a 13.03@103 in his bone stock 04 STi back in 2004. I'm not sure what the differences are in the 06's compared to the 04-05's, but if they have the same power, then they can give you a run for your money.

i went to the track last weekend with an ls6 conversion, slp lid, k&n, and a glasspack muffler and ran a 12.7 on street tires, in an M6, so be quiet with all this hatin on peoples cars ****, and an ls6 conversion only adds approx 55 hp to the crank, so ease up on him guys

Ok. Well if you look at his et in his sig he's more than 1/2 a second off the pace of an STI. Which means if his buddy runs what an STI can run fbirdserg00 is gonna lose by about 6-8 car lengths. Nobody's hatin on anything. He asked for input. He got it. Good bad or otherwise.

a stock '06 STi will run high 12's with a good driver

if you are racing on the street...forget about it unless you have tires

it's ok to admit an import is faster
