Wheelie Bars

For those of your running them, what brand are you running and how much goes into this.. Are they just bolt on?

Some fabrication required. Most people just get them done up by a local chassis shop. The fun part is making it all fit while keeping the T-top well.

You could attempt to buy a generic kit from a chassis shop and make them fit. But you'll have to put the brackets on your housing which is going to take a little welding. That's provided that you can get them to fit around your panhard bar without relocating it. Some stock suspension classes have a problem with altering the location of the panhard while others do not. That's something you need to double check on first.

i'm putting the Wolfe setup on my car, i plan to cut the ttop well out and move it up some anyways and make a box for the battery etc.

Bought mine from Jegs. Generic. Like said, a lot of modifications to the car. T-top holder area, gone. Didn't have to relocate pan-hard. I was moving the battery to rear anyway, and putting fuel and water cells in also.

Here's pictures of the wheelie bars and "new" trunk area.

Well looks like that alot more then i expected.. I has planning to tub it down the road, guess ill wait till then when everything is torn apart..

check out the wolfe wheelie bar setup, probably a more "bolton" type deal (with welding instead ofcourse though)

i didn't mean "bolton" bars, what i meant by that was that they are built specifically for the fbodies and are a direct install, no fab work involved.
