Default poor runs at track-think i need some help sorting it out..

ok the car is a 99 ss m6 with all the usual bolt ons, dana60 w/ 4.10, tsp torquer v2 cam, and full weight. made 391/358 on a dynojet. prostars all the way around w/ 26x10 et drags out back at 11 psi. i tried higher but the car would hook. im using the synergy 2step. i tried several diff rpms thru the night but 6-6400 seemed to be the best for getting it moving. i have lakewood control arms, bmr ta @-2, bilstein shocks, slp rear springs, lg front springs, lakewood panhard, and i removed the front sway bar and stb. no matter what i did the car would not do better than a 1.75 60ft. it would start to jump then fall on its face. car has a mcleod single disc w/ aluminum flywheel and a 3" nitrous ready steel ds.

best tonight @ 1/8th mile was 7.73@91 mph. my previous best on 16" et streets @ 14psi, no 2 step, and bolt ons only was 7.97@88 mph. comparable 60 ft times within a few hundreths of each other and weather was almost identical. my pre cam times also had more in them but only got 1 night in. by my calc from my previous runs with the car that will put me at a 11.98@113 which imo is weak. my main concern is the 60 ft. i feel as though i should be well into the 1.6's and id like to be in the 1.5's.

any help would be appreciated.

I guess there are trade offs. If you have od and a locking stall I would go for a bigger stall, I have a non locking stall and no od with a turbo 350 so I have to compromise.
He's running a clutch.

You seem to be saying that your engine bogs when your tires are at 11 psi and if you raise the tire pressure to eliminate the bog, your sixty suffers. Is that your situation?

He's launching it high enough, just sounds like the bog is hurting his 60'. Torque in the 350ish range might not be enough to push through a 6000+ rpm launch without bogging it down on 11psi.
You could:
1-step up your gear to help push through that bog
2-work on your suspension to get you to hook on a higher tire psi

What's the next steeper gear for a Dana 60?

you have a 6 speed, you can go a little steeper w/o a problem for daily driving. My buddy Alex has 4:56's on his m6 and he drives that thing everywhere. Might be your cheapest option also.
