I have gone 8.30's with my carb'd 421 SBc nitrious engine. I have been carb'd for 6 years in my fourth gen. I am not going back to EFI unless I can find a definate advantage. With nitrious EFI is a waste of money. JMHO.

Usually most low 9 and 8 second cars are like mine. Started raced and shut off. I do not like wearing out engine parts for no reason.

Its only a problem if you want to win that drag race at the track. You run over 1 second and 20 mph slower then me. Street driving is very cool but if you want to win you have to make sacrafices. TMO.

3200lbs with driver. I also watched your videos and the best I saw you run was 9.60's. I have gone a pb of 8.36 @ 166 mph. 8.50's all day everyday! Not a slam you have a very nice car. I just don't think you would beat me in a heads up race. We all make choices and sacrafices to get what we want from our cars. You choose to street drive and have comfort and that is very cool! I choose for the damn thing to go fast and lose all those things. Believe me there are sometimes I wish I owned your car.

No the engine I have been running is a 421 SBC with nitrious. Right now I am working with Dave at Canadian Performance and for 2007 season I will be running a carb based Ls1 427 with Dart heads, Warhawk block, Solid roller and a really big fogger. I hope to run faster then my personal best with this new engine. Back in 2003 I went 9.0@ 160mph (traction limited) with my 383 Lt1. Then I gave up on that engine. Now its back to F-body racing. See you guys in 2007. BTW the car is stock suspension with no wheelie bars on a 28 or 30 ET Street.

The LT1 was sprayed on a new but old technology Nos big shot fogger on a 36 pill. Not sure how much that is since the tune ups I use are not the NOS tune ups. I use an over square low presure setup on the B nozzle. I think the spray made about 290hp at the rearwheels according to a dynojet dyno.

The video was in april and we just got the car together then.... its 3668 raceweight 370 inch motor on pump gas.

Tell ya what get your big money LSX together put 400lbs in it and I have no problem with a heads up race. Wouldnt be the 1st time I beat a faster car
