Anyone running a Jerico or a carb?
Man you Glen Burnie guys talk alot of **** for just now going 8s. Spray went 8s 2 years ago. Hell myself, SLed, Spray, Sikora, and Baxter were out racing and running 9s back in 1998-99. We all stepped up to the 8s the next year.
Not to start any **** SHiznity but isnt your car the one that ran 8s and when it came back to the pits it was pouring oil out of the motor???

I just got my car 2 1/2 years ago.
If my job was to build and work on race cars maybe I would have done something years ago.
I was racing ATV's then not cars ... hence the screen name.
If you guys did that years ago why havent you gone much faster with all the better **** out there? Whats the hold up?

Some of my creations have been in the 6s and 7s. Most all of us went real racing. We picked a class and went to compete. If you raced ATVs you know the difference between timeslip racing and actually competing.
Well considering only 9 people have ever been in the 8's with a LSX motor and N20 I'd say Shiz did OK and out of them he is probably the only one to drive it home.
I know the difference between the 2. Fact is there isnt very many places where LSX cars would be competitive unless you have unlimited funds.
How many 9 or 8 second LSX cars have you owned?

ATV you made my point. LSXs arent competitive
Thats why you dont see any out there. Your second point is I wouldnt own a LSX equipped race car. The LSX is a killer street rod cruiser motor not a race motor.

With the money I have in my street car I could have built a low 8 second race car with no problem.

it pushed a little oil at 8000. the stock oil system and hydrolic roolah at 8000 do that some times. we will have a vacume pump and some catch cans on it next time out.
