Default Help!!! Traction Sucks!!!

I've got MT DR's, anything over around 3,000+ launch makes me bounce off the rev limiter. I'm only putting out about 420 rwhp. The odd thing is that when I dump the clutch at launch the engine torque lifts the drivers side and goes down on the passangers side. Consequently the drivers side leaves a heavy black burn mark, while the passanger side leaves a much lighter colored burn mark. I have a 9" Detroit locker so I know the power is being distributed equally. I have relocation brackets adjusted to the bottom hole. They have completely eliminated my severe wheel hop. Kevin at MT tells me that their DR's shouldn't be used on M6 cars. How about some input as to why my burn marks are so unequal. Thanks.

I can just kill my MT DR's at a 3k dump to even if they are warm.

I dont know what to tell you about the unequal "burn marks" But have you checked your pinion angle? I would check that first..

Put a antiroll on it and a torque arm and she will hook better.

The reason I don't have slicks is that I've been waiting for PSJ to convince Centerline there is a market for 15X10's where you don't need to grind the calipers. What pray tell is an "antiroll"??? Thanks

an antiroll is a massive rear sway bar that helps keep your rear level. Sort of the same idea as a large sway bar helps in keeping the car level in a turn. this helps keep both tires planted firmly to the pavement. The spohn one I have seems to work pretty well. Check the sponsor sites and look in the supension/ chassis sections under sway bars.
