What spark plugs in your nitrous huffing "RACE" car??

What spark plugs in your nitrous huffing "RACE" car??
I have always used NGK plugs in my LT1s, LS1s, 5.0s, etc, but I know there are other plugs out there that could be better for my current setup. I'm running nitrous and 12:1 compression with 110 octane race gas. Will the NGK TR6's be enough for a 150 shot? I plan to go bigger than that once we get everything tuned and dialed in. Probably end up in the 200-250 shot range. I have heard that the NGK TR7's are better suited for a big shot of nitrous 150hp and up, but what about Autolite race plugs? Is anybody running an Autolite plug and if so what kind of setup are you running them with? I just don't feel like burning up the cheap $1.88 NGK plugs in a $10,000 dollar engine.
Also, what are you gapping your plugs at and how bad did they hurt N/A performance?

I ran the NGK 8's with a small shot like that, I used a 10 with a bigger shot.
So where in the hell do u find NGK's for $1.88, I paid $4.00 around here.
I never saw any loss N/A. My set up was a 477", 13-1, 175 shot, single 1050 right from box, glide, 5400 stall, 4.10 gear, ladder bars, 29 X 10 slick, weighed 3200 exactly. I ran 8.50's @ 157-159. I'm a fan of small gaps .035-.040 when spraying.
I did run Autolite for years, but that was a 12 second car N/A only.

I am having a problem finding anything colder than a 7 in an ngk for a et head. My tuner told me to switch to autolite because the have bigger ground straps. Is there a chart to match plugs up with different brands

I ran NGK 6's for years on nitrous up to 200 shot on my stock engine. Now with the twins and a 408, I'm running the NGK 8's. I have seen some autolites after nitrous and turbo runs. No thank you. NGK 8's for a 408, 250 shot would be my personal choice. -- I pay 1.53 for my NGK 8's .

I run ngk br7ef plugs in mycar. Never noticed any power loss NA. The only time you can really tell you have a cold plug in the car is when you try to start the car when its cold out. Around 40deg or less out side, the car may only run on 5-6 cil for about 10sec, and as soon as the plugs warm up its just like any other plug. I also pay $1.88 for any ngk plugs at the local parts store.

AFR, Dart and Brodix all have Autolites referenced on their sites as recomended plugs. Brodix has a mix of Autolite, NGK and Champion. I'm big on made in the USA parts where applicable so I try to stick to Autolites.
Personally, I use Autolite race plugs with the cut back strap on different blown and nitrous combinations up to 1400 hp. They seem to be very rubust with no failures unless it was user induced. I'm sure the equivalent NGKs are functionally fine also. Had a few issues with Champions in the eighties but nothing recent.

The speed shop that helped me when I was 1st learning N2O only used NGK because the strap was not as tough, and on a lean tune up it would burn off 1st before melting a hole in the piston. That's what he told everyone, and I have never thought about it again. I do use autolite in all my gas trucks.

I've used NGK and Champion before now only use the best, IMO Autolite Race Plugs (ground strap already cut back)

AR3934's - N/A (crosses to R5671A-8 NGK, C57CX Champion)
AR3933's - 175-225 N2O (crosses to -9 NGK), 59 Champion)
AR3932's - 250+ N2O (crosses to -10 NGK), 61 Champiom)
