Question Goodyear Eagle SS Drag Radials

Not that you can find any of these because of the Strike but did anybody hear how these new Goodyear drag radials tested out? I was kinda wanting to know seeing how they had them in 315/35/17. Now their on strike and Goodyear is saying maybe next year? Alrite I don't care who but either Mickey Thompson or Goodyear need to get these new tire sizes out before I waste my money on Nittos again.

Wow, I hadn't heard of this, and I actually emailed Goodyear a couple of months back asking if there were any tires like these (or the old GSC-S, soft compound shaven) available. They replied that there wasn't anything available or in the works.

Do you have any links?

I have them in 275-40-17, but havent ran them yet. The compound is very soft and I expect they will stick like glue. You have to getthem from a race distributor http://www.racegoodyear.com/distributors.html

I saw them on the Goodyear site and I called my closest distributer which was in High Point, NC. Huggins Tire. They told me because of the strike It would be probally next year. If you have any contacts let me know.....!

DO NOT RUN THE GOODYEAR RADIAL TIRE!!!!!!!! The absolute biggest pieces of **** out there. We actually tested a "newer design" set for them and gave them our feedback. This was after contacting and complaining about how bad the set I just bought was. The new ones were just as bad. Never heard back from them. This was the 325/50's.

A buddy of mine tested there 275/40-17 before they were released and did a comparison to the M/T radials of the same size. The M/T's kicked there ***. He also gave them his feedback and never heard back from them.

Don't waste your money on Goodyears. Buy M/T radials.

That sucks taht you have to purchase tehm from one of the 9 distributors on that link (thanks for the link). They should be offered through all of their dealerships like the GSC-S tires were.
