I can only dream right now of hooking up like your car in that video. Bad *** ride.

Thanks everyone, I tried launching my car a few times and all I got was a smoke show with the almost bald 18" 555R's. It's time for some MT's, I got a spare 10 bolt if anything.lol

Good to hear you fellas are having success with these shocks. Just nabbed a NIB set for $40 shipped.

What setting would you reccomend for a DD. Keep in mind, i don't mind pulling them to change the settings if need be. Also I will be using them, on the street, no track round here. So, also what would work good on the street, or is it really just T&E?

I'll also be going back to the stock springs with these.

What's everyone doing up front?

I had CE's but they were just too inconsistant, put on some cheapy no names and lost height and about .01 but gained a good deal in consistancy. They junked out on me at the end of last year, car had a wicked wobble to it after the front end sat down.

Are the DA coil overs worth it? I'm thinking about AFCO's or QA1's on my '67, it's about to get a 548 (about 200 more horses) in it which should put me down in the 5.70's or 5.60's. We have scales so I can dial it in... That's the main reason I'm thinking it might be worth the cost.

That's kinda wierd. Did you try resetting them? (pump them 8-10 times then on last one, keep the piston in, and twist a few times til the lil mechanism engages) Then you should be set to go. If not call up the company you got em from and let em know.

I bought a new set from speed inc, and they would do the same thing. I didn't think they were right so speed inc said to call comp and comp said they were defected. I sent them back to Speed Inc and they shipped out a new set. And the new set clicked, somone on here said that for his monte carlo they wouldn't click but on his fbody they would.
More than likely they are bad, IMO.

I already got everything else (ta, panhard bar, sway bar, lca's springs) so a set of shocks will finish it all off. What u guys think.
Works here for me. See video below.

Then they are prob. screwed up or defective. Most likely why they were sold in the first place to be honest. (or he didn't know)

I say you contact the seller and see if he'll right the wrong for you.
