Question front bumper reinforcement

if i remove this will my front bumper look saggy? and will it be really flimsy in the wind? or does it not effect the bumper cover at all? thanks

You can always get a piece of alum. at Lowes/Home Depot and make a support bracket. It may weigh a pound or two but it will help. Thats what I'm going to do once I'm finished in the engine compartment. Right now I've got the whole nose piece off so it doesn't get scratched.

This is exactly what I did with mine. They were very easy to bend into shape.

Does anyone have pics of the aluminum supports? How much weight savings can be expected with this mod? Thanks

i dont have one in mine or my buddys TA, they dont sag, dont waste your time and money on brackets IMO. Once you bolt it back up youll see some good supports that hold it into place.

No sag until someone puts alot of weight on there. I figure a bracket weighing a pound or two will help. That way if some idiot desides to lean against the front of your car the nose piece isn't messed up in the process.

If your going to take the front metal support out on a DD. You had better put something in there like this. I just taking the honeycomb plastic piece out of mine.
