Default Powerglide shifter && Seats

Need a shifter for a powerglide, not sure if I'd rather have a button on it for the T-brake or not. Any recommendations? I kinda like the B & M Carbon fiber pro stick but it doesn't have a button on the shifter.

Also need a set of seats that would be ok for short to medium trips. I've thought about using the kirkeys and getting some padding/seat covers to make them alittle more comfortable.

Get the stick(cause I think they look cool too) and put the T.B. button in one of the holes from the Grant steering wheel(if you were going that route anyways.

Local guy builds them, has more than enough local guys that are going mid 7s with ease. Everyone has had great luck with his transmissions.

I wouldnt put the tb button on the shifter handle itself due to the chance of movement and your finger slipping off the button. Stick it on the steering wheel, or right behind the shifter connected to the base for a sturdy mount. Then get a dedenbear tb switch that you can adjust the throw to for your liking. If you want a switch on the shifter, use that for your line lock. Thats how I wire my cars.

I missed the seat part. Are these going in the vette or the stang? The corbeau a4's is a pretty decent seat for what your wanting and they arent that heavy. I cant remember the exact weight.

I like the pro rchet with t handle put it in a 6 speed console with a boot and it looks like a stock 6 speed shifter with a t handle. except for the small shiney lock out latch but most do not notice it.
