Default VFN Fiberglass Front End

Is there anyway to hang a VFN fiberglass front clip on a full body car?

Looking to cut even more weight out of the car and i figure getting rid of those front fenders is a good way to start.

Has anyone modified one to work with pop up headlight?

My class requires working headlights.

Anything is possible I suppose...but those front ends aren't even close to fitting on a full body car. Local guy has one and it took 56 hours of fiberglass work to rough it in to fit it to the car.

The fenders themselves are plastic, and only 5 or 6lbs each anyway.

Just replacing the panels with glass isn't worth the effort. If you plan to cut most of the black metal out from behind the fenders and facia, then you'll make a dent in the weight.

The VFN ft. end is not worth the time and hassel.. stay away from VFN unless you have lots of money to spend

A local guy here has the front camaro one piece clip. I believe he said its like 6 inches or so longer then the stock clip and needs a whole new mounting system. Looked to be a pretty cool piece though...

That is my car in Outlaw's shop. For the sake of your own sanity and check book don't do it! It was a major blunder on my part to go that route. I was just trying something new and different and, well, I paid the price for it... Only good news is that when the car is all painted and ready to run it will look killer... but that is thanks to the fiberglass shop that installed it and absolutely no thanks to the fellas at VFN that should not have allowed some of the pieces to leave QC the way they did.
