The car was able to do a crank re learn with a tech 2. I would think if it was that far off it wouldn't have done that.

You're prolly right though,thats my guess too.

Anyone wanna buy a nice motor 750 flywheel hp

Why not just run the stock PCM with the carb, guys are using it with a megasquirt (stand alone fuel injection) so I dont see why it wont work with a carb, run it SD and you have perfectly fine LS1 ignition..

I'm just pissed off right now. If it doesn't sell I'll figure something out ,but if it sells I'm gonna put a 346 in it. I wish the p.o.s. msd box would just work

can you put an external crank trigger on the front or something? Eastside has a car they got from billingsley, that has a msd crank trigger on the pulley.... maybe you could put something like that on and solve the issues...... might be something to consider.

I hear ya, you are more patient then I am thats for sure, that MSD box would have been gone long ago if it were me..

Cant imagine a cam only 346 being a lot of fun for long, you can always just slap a 632 in there and be done with it

build a 500 ci lsx with some ET canted valve heads and run it on alky with a big sheet metal intake and a carb/distributor....... come on, you know you want to

ltlhomer used a trigger on the front pulley too when they found they crank trigger tone wheel was warped alittle

Sometimes the simple **** is so fun. Sometimes I wish I had stuck with a cam only setup. When you get deeper and deeper into the setup, it becomes a bitch and not very reliable.

no the problem is the car... just accept it and say good bye lol





but in all honesty tho. I dont think it is very rational to unload the motor over a stupid lil ignition issue. As big of a pain in the *** that crap can be at some times. lol The end really jus doesent justify the means.
