What are your mods? i.e. Gear/converter or m6/motor or FI/suspension, etc. A little more info and I can tell you if that will be too much tire for you.

Candyredz28, I'm gonna venture out on a limb and say a huge YES ...those tires are way to much. DR's would be great right now and after you do a nice sized stall and maybe some 3:73's, then move up to that sized/kind of tire.

Really id keep the 2.73 out back...... get a good stall as your next mod.... 3K to 3800 and then get the 26" Hoosiers and be happy with that.... Should have no problem cutting 1.6 60' times... and still have a car thats fun to drive....

The 3.73's in an A4 car is going to spin around 2500@70 mph .... i know... i did it....
Ill be buying another F-Body and it will be an A4 car and have everythingCandy red has + a 35-3800 stall and a Nice 224-230 cam and just drive the car and be happy with Bottom 12's or high 11's on a D/D and leave the other car to going fast...

I would go no bigger than a 26" tall tire. I run the best on a 275/50/15 (26x11.5x15) MT drag radial and I have a 4500 stall and 3.73 gears out back. Even if you put a stall in and shorter gears, I would still stick with a 26" to get the most out of your setup.
