No the 240sx I am talking about was yellow and it was built by a few shops in the PA/NJ area. It flat out smoked the mustang it went up against (which was in flames the last run)

I was hoping you guys would use a 240sx or an rx7 and bring that curb weight down to around 2400lbs.. that combo with a th400 and a lsx block on a heavy hit would be damn near unstoppable and rx7 and 240sx shells are stiff and can be had for free or close to free.

Me 2! This guy and I must be related - I've got an LT1/4 (not an LS) and I did work for Ford untill the "Way Forward" plan went forward without me and about 32K other white collar employees.
So, I now work for Volvo (Trucks!) and live in NC (which is a far cry from Detroit). But, getting back to "Pinks" I'd donate $$$ to kick that blue oval around!

Never watched the show but sounds like fun.
What is the format heads up? Rules are? Best of so many races?
Since their no Fords in Pro Stock I guess if they allow you to run a 499 or 500 block with Carbs we might have the edge. But Turbo's and everything else are permitted, I've seen both Fords and GM's run 6's. Do you get any testing on the track? Everyone who has ever raced knows two lanes on the same track aren't the same. So, one race might show a winner but not a true winner. But it still sounds like fun. Go for it, good luck.

I think it would be a great idea if we were to convert this over to a hybrid and make it all wheel drive. Not only it would be fast it would have great gas mileage and you'd be able to drive it in the winter.

That was at Drag week not the PGD.
He lost to a nobody in the 1st round at the PGD.

Is this going to be a straight up race with negotiations out of the way before the show, or will you have to give the Stang a few bus lengths?
