what motor mounts, and what spark plugs for iron motor??

Question what motor mounts, and what spark plugs for iron motor??

looking for info.
what plugs are you very high power NA ls cars running for plugs? call it a mid 9 seconf na car, what plugs?



also, i have run my stock motor mounts this hole time, if i go to iron block and high hp what motor mounts should i get?
i have older bmr k-memeber, and dont think i want to do motor plates just yet, dont think the class i will be racing alows them.

I installed Prothane mounts last winter and love them. Took a ton of engine movement out. TR6's would be hard to beat on a NA car in the 9's.

depending on your compression, 12:1 and up I would go with a -7 or so NGK heat range. Maybe an 8 to start and see how they hold up.

Prothane mounts are fine for that, havent seen anyone rip a stock clamshell apart yet..

I run the tr6's and poly mounts and never have had any issues.

kp, im going to be around 15 -1 so i'll start with an 8

tosto, saw your pinks the other day finnally, sick, just sick!!!!! your car is just the nicest f-body i have ever seen!!!!! i put alot of work and pride into my car and it shows, after seeing your car, holly hell you did a great great job!!!!!!!!
also, for your starting issue, i wish i could help, all i can tell you is last year i had the same issue and it was my ls2 front cover. i had to swap the 2 wires, other then that everyone is telling you the same things i would. wish i could help.

and also, thanks for your info! whatpolly mounts are the best in your opinion?

why not solid mounts? I was going to switch from the poly mounts...

Not at the level you are looking to run...but if it's worth anything.

Why the iron block, was your old block NFG?

Thanks, as far as the poly mounts I got them through Billingsley a few years ago. AllI can say is, I chose the poly because solid motor mounts in our cars would suck pulling the trannies at least the poly mounts let the motor lean back some. I leave at 8000 rpm and its a heavy car and never had any problem you'll be good to go
