Dave, what do those go for?

I did not see one on VFN's site? Heard you have to make mounting brackets for them?

Here's the link to VFN. Go to "catalog"; find 1993-2002 Camaro; About half way down. $259. 4lbs

http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/site.htm

Looks very similar to Roofer Dave's dash - except Dave's is finished

I just modified th stock mounts on the bottom, and for the top i just made a couple of small L brackets.Thats the only part thats a pita, but it doesn't come with any holes for mounting so you can pretty much mount it any way you want.

Can you post a picture of the stock mount you modded? I'm just wondoring where your support points are. How did it fit in the car? Close to stock? Very tempted to do this now

Stressfulcar, Did that fit around the cage bar pretty easy. As in is if flexable enough to fit after you cut the holes for the bars?

The top part is a little stiff but it will bend enough to get it in there.I didn't exactly take my time when I did mine and cut the notches a little too big but that didn't have anything to do with the dash itsef.
