I looked at the online PDF for this and ungerstand that they supply a new harness. My question is What do you do with the wiring already in the car?

You just replace the engine harness, unless you are rewiring the whole car of course. Part of the ECM harness is also used for the starter, fans and a few other things so if you remove it the car wont crank among other thngs ![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
Speed Inc used to sell a plug and play harness for a BS3 to keep the stock PCM and guages, it was pricey though. Its not hard at all to piggyback them if you have a handle on automotive wiring. If you are doing race car wiring and aftermarkey guages then ypu can take out most of the stock wiring and put in what you need, the BS3 only needs a few wires hooked up to work, rest just plugs into the engine sensors.

Thanks. Guess I will need to take a look and see where the engine harness is connected. I took a quick look today and did not see any place that it just unplugs.

before you install it i will say... if you are going limited tire racing get the BS3 that is for a regular SBC that way you can use a programmable 7 box.... the BS3 version i saw late last year still didnt have the timing control i wanted... which pissed me off and drove me back to using a bbc, carb, and juice....
