I ran it exactly this way with the smooth pulley before and it pitched the belt, with the ribbed pulley the belt won't track.
BTW what size is the allen wrench for taking of the power steering pulley?

I finished deleting my power steering and rerouting the belt.
Here is what is done.
I AM USING A STOCK CRANK PULLEY.
Use a napa auto belt, last numbers ending in 547 (it's 54 1/4" long)
Autozone tensioner 6 ribbed 70mm pulley part number 231015.
Place the 6 ribbed pulley where the alternator pulley used to be and place a 1/8th" washer behind it, lines up perfect.
Grind the alternator mounting bolts slightly, took about 1/4" off each bolt where the belt runs under/over it.
That's it, ran my motor at high rpm several times and worked perfect.
The belt lines up perfect, nothing rubs, the belt doesn't toss and that length belt is perfect, the tensioner marks line up the same as the factory belt, dead center on the second mark.
Looks very nicely routed will post pics asap

why are you guys putting the belt over that pulley in between the wp and alt?
i didnt do that, im just running a belt that hits the tensioner,wp,alt, then crank.
i just ordered the BMR alt race braket cause im putting in a JPR WP next week. so now ill be sporting a tiny belt from the crank to the alt

Thats the alternator idle pulley, I replaced mine with a 6 rib pulley and the reason is it helps keep the length of belt shorter between pulley so it is less likely to toss a belt at high rpm.

I hear a lot of guys tossing the belt with it ran the other way, I personally pitched a belt using the other two ways.
With the way I did it now I haven't had a problem.

i havent had any probs throwing a belt the way its routed. i DD the car as well. at the track it may do it maybe once, but it only jumps off 1 rib and not the whole belt, rite at the tensioner. but every car is different
