You're not looping coolant lines. If you already removed the pump, there should be two hoses that go to the steering rack. Those are what needs to be looped.

How are you guys routing the belt when you delet the PS? I am ditching the PB for a manual setup when I put on the aerospace stuff, and may as well lose the PS too. Is there a custom idler I can buy somewhere?

See the bracket at the bottom? It slides and you set the tension then tighten the bolt kinda like an old school one.

I like that setup, Too bad it gets in the way of my turbo pipes. I have my Alt mounted up top on the passenger side head.

Is there a lighter/smaller alternator we can use with this setup? I have no AC,stereo is out etc... Was looking to drop some weight off the nose and this seems like a place to try.

Razor Blade is right. There are two rubber hoses that you use a 3/8" hose mender to loop the lines, and you just throw hose clamps on it.

Here is a pic of what you need. 3/8":

Here is a pic of how to route the belt:

I won't have my car back from the chassis shop until tomorrow afternoon. I will get a pic tomorrow, but my alternator isn't relocated. All I did was delete the power steering pump, pulley, and the idler pulley, just like the pic above.

Oh, and the wheel isn't THAT hard to turn with the stock rack looped. I can take turns one handed with skinnies up front. It will be harder with a stock 16" or 17" rim though. It looks real good without it

wow, I really dig how clean the front of the engine looks w/o all the acc. running off the front of it...I wonder how many horses were regained by doing that.

I like the way it looks too. I will be getting rid of the ABS here shortly, as soon as I get the time to run the new lines.
