Well damn it. I googled ozite and only came up with black. Thats what I ordered last week and it's supposed to be here tomorrow. I just got the cage in and ready to get it back together tomorrow. Guess I'm sending that back and waiting 3 more days. Damnit

You should be alright with the black. I'd keep it. As long as you didn't get pink...

I want it to look as close to stock as I can. Being a 98 I'd rather it match and be gray. I contacted the site I ordered from and I'm going to attempt to return what I don't use. I ordered gray monday and it's supposed to be here today. I guess I'll dummy both up in the car and see what looks better and send the other back.

Got mine done last weekend. Everything turned out great except the backseat area where I had to seam it together on a couple spots. Overall I'm pleased though, and the car didn't seem to get much louder afterwards even with no sound deadening. I guess because I run tailpipes on the car and it's not dumped.

Yes sir. Stock carpet was a hair over 40, and the padding was 17.8.

Does anyone run True-duals dumped before the axle with lightweight carpet? or is that just a bad idea?

Ozite is defiantly the stuff to go with. Its easy enough to work with and it looks damn good for the price.

In the summer I put my stock carpet back it, I took off the factory sound insulation and glued Dynamat to the back of it. Just pulled it out, and the Ozite still looks good after the hole summer of being under the factory carpet.

Here's some pics from last years install.

Good job on the carpet, guy. I know how hard it is to perfect the back seat area, but yours looks better than mine, atleast in the pic.

Did you do it in two pieces in the back seat area?

thanks!

yeah, its all one piece of carpet from the front foot wells back. I had to make a seam where the drive shaft tunnel meets the rear bulkhead, in order to remove overlapping carpet to make it nice and smooth.

I run dumped oval mufflers off of the headers with the Ozite lightweight carpet. It's loud, but bearable.

haha i still havnt ordered mine yet!

the reason i cant run stock carpet anymore is becuase i modded my floor board back seat area. and the rear part of it is going to be all jacked up with stock molded carpet.

and i was wanting to buy some normal auto carpet that i could lay with some eDead underneath it to keep the sound down. but i cant find any, other than ozite brand

think dailying ozite would last a year?

or anyone know where they sell stock automotive carpet that hasnt been molded?
