Does anyone sale a molded lightweight carpet?

 

Speed Inc. used to, not sure if they still do it was getting pricey. I recall someone saying Year One sold it too.

I run molded lightweight carpet in the Formy, set up for no console.

 

cyrus if you find some let me know. i need some for the formula.

 

i just ordered 4 yards of the drk. grey oztite , when i get it installed ill take pics and post them.

 

I actually went to the fabric store with my wife and got some sort of craft felt that is suposed to hold pretty well, and it was pretty cheep, and light. I will be trying to put it in sometime in the next few weeks...

 

How does that carpet compare with OEM weight?

 

I bought some ozite, personally it is cheaper than speaker box carpet, I put it in the trash, yes it is light but it's junk carpet.

is it really that bad quality ? the pics I've seen here look ok, I guess ill find out when it comes in

 

I'm looking for carpet as well and will wait to hear some further feedback on the Ozite. I have seen some installs which look good so far.

I understand it will not look factory and think thats where the opinions really start to fly here on the quality of the product.

well after i try the oztite (should be here friday), ill take pics and post my review, if it looks like crap, i might just go molded like john said.

 

What was the other carpet someone made a thread about not too long ago? They said it was like ozite, but better in certain aspects. Is anyone running the black carpet? Pics?

 

Was it called spectrum? For some reason that pops into my mind.

I can't remember phill99vette bought some and said it was thicker than the ozite.

Is the quality good? I personally didn't like the ozite, maybe I am more picky than some, but to me yes it was light weight, that was the only thing I liked about it.

I am going with the stuff phil bought, I'd rather have an extra few pounds of carpet if it looks nicer.

I just ordered my ozite carpet. If it looks as good installed as everyone one has posted then I will be happy! Super nice people also!

 

just got my oztite in...............we'll see how it goes, any suggestions on the best spray adhesive to use?

 

it might be a little ghetto but I was just planning on using duct tape...

 

hey, are you guys laying the oztite over the stock carpet and triming it to start with.......or are you just wrestling around with the whole 4 yards in the car trimming as you go?
