most off the big CI cars hear use carb on ther car's it was an option for him if he needs to use big twin turbo or big singl turbo like 101mm or 106mm. with 408ci or 427ci he can be in the mid off the 8's. wich is good .

firehawk123. sorry to say that but you're wrong.. most of LS1's with nitrous in mid of 8 sec's and many with turbo's in high 7 sec's with same that option you mentioned 101mm or 106mm's with 408 or 427cid you so you need to take a good look and i can show you if you want.
FASTFATBOY. the guy that owner carb engine he hate all the EFI's and i coudn't change his mind about that so he choose his way by carb. yes they did.
Here's the guy that i talked about him, check this out https://ls1tech.com/forums/nitrous-oxide/786331-ls1-carb-kuwait.html
The last thing we stopped on it is rebuild the engine with carb and foger of nitrous 450 shots, if the results is very will he will keep the motor and if not he will order the LSX motor 482cid.
I will keep you guys updated,
Thanks

is it me... or is your english improving??
good luck. sounds like you have a serious goal in mind. I am pretty sure that with only 1250rwhp and 2800lbs you can run a mid 8..... with 1500rwhp or more you will be in the high 7's for sure. It will take a huge turbo, big cubes or tanker full of nitrous and cubes to do it.
I recommend the LSX block, 3 stages of nitrous with first being 400, then 200, than 150. The largest heads you can find. SB2.2 or equivelant carb intake, and a carb. I wouldnt do EFI if I where you. Unless you do a custom PCM like BS3.

Option 2 is to go with a Big Block motor and say fuckit to LSx stuff... but if you did that you better plan on running 4.8's in the 1/8th mile!

Bit of advice......anyone that suggests 750hp worth of nitrous is just getting warmed up on anything...shouldnt be giving advice. Make sure you're careful who you listen to, lots of internet top fuel builders on here

What does you class allow (cubic inch limits, nitrous limits, backhalf, etc) or is this just for fun? If it were me, I'd tell Wheel2Wheel what you want, let them build the car, dial it in and get it ready to race, then ship it to Kuwait.
I'd also ditch the LSx platform and go BBC, but that's me. A 572 w/ some Chiefs and a big unit would catapault you well into the 7s.

no.... but with 6 bolt heads and a better block than factory castings... on would assume they can handle it. I know of someone in dfw running 5.5's in the 8th with a single stage and plans to pull it with 2 for about 600 worth of gas...... if a factory cast block can handle 600 with 4 bolt heads.... an lsx setup right can do 750..... the 3 stages will make the difference. Those blocks are everybit as capable as some of the Dart blocks.

yeah... I must be crazy... I am putting 300 on my stock LQ9 block with 4 bolt L92 heads and just cheap ARP ****. I could add another 200 from 5500rpm to redline on the topend and the motor would take it if tuned right... so if you can setup 500 on this small 4.030 bore block... why not something bigger on a better one?

To me I think a 7 sec car is insane...Just cause you don't think so, dosen't mean that others do!..
Any word on what you are looking to do?..Either way good luck!..
