VFN vs VanOverBeek Hood difference
VFN vs VanOverBeek Hood difference I need some pictures of the VFN Sunoco Extended to windshield, and the Vanoverbeek "Ray Sanchez" hood.

The main reason for this thread is to find out if the VanOverBeek hood covers the cowl like the VFN Sunoco Extended to windshield.

If you look close by the door mirrors/windshield you can see you have to make a peice unlike the VFN.

I have the VFN sunoco extended and it is gonna need alot of fitting to look right... I really like the Joe Van O hood, but I got a SMOKIN deal on this one and don't mind the fitting issue since the whole car has to be painted anyway.
All the reviews on here say there quality is good........this guy I work with got a VFN hood waited 13 weeks for it and expected better quality...

If you have the time get the Overbeek hood. I charge alot more for mounting the VFN stuff. The Overbeek goes right on with little trimming.

Joe Van O makes it in pin on and bolt on in Fiberglass, CF and CF/Fiberglass mix. Unless Stenod has one at the shop (which he likely does not have) then he'll get a hold of Joe Van O. His back log that I was aware of a month or two ago was over three months. The backlog is not easily influenced unless you are buying an entire car and stuff a few dozen extra Franklin's in your deposit. That basically means if you're getting a hood, wing, etc. you get it when you get it. That's simply the way he works.
